Rittal Private Limited, a leading provider of industrial enclosures, power distribution, climate control, and IT infrastructure solutions, has appointed Mathew Jacob as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 June 2026. He succeeds Ajay Bhargava, who concludes a distinguished 16-year tenure as Managing Director of Rittal India.

A seasoned leader with over three decades of experience, Mr Mathew has held senior positions at Standard Batteries, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), and Schneider Electric. He has been part of Rittal India’s leadership team for the past eight years, most recently as Vice President – Sales & Marketing, driving business growth, strengthening market presence, and enhancing customer engagement.

Mathew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and a postgraduate qualification in Marketing Management from LIBA, complemented by executive education at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and Harvard University, reflecting a strong blend of technical expertise and strategic leadership.

He brings extensive experience in technical sales, strategy formulation and execution, product management, business development, key account management, and service excellence. His ability to integrate these capabilities has consistently driven growth, strengthened customer engagement, and delivered sustained business success.

Widely recognised for translating strategy into execution, Mathew has built high-performing teams, advanced customer-centric initiatives, and led market-focused strategies that deliver sustained competitive advantage.
