Eplan Next26, held on 20 and 21 May 2026 at Cavalluna Park in Munich, Germany, introduces a new global festival for visionaries, decision-makers and users across industries and engineering. Operating under the motto ‘Where Industry Meets Tomorrow,’ the event brings together over 1,200 participants, including component and machine manufacturers, operators, and sector experts, all focused on shaping the future of industrial automation and engineering.

The two-day festival combines keynote presentations, a Future Lab, practice-oriented Best Practice sessions, Master Classes, live demonstrations and interactive experiences, creating an engaging platform for engineering innovation. Jan Fleming, Vice President Customer Journey at Eplan, stated that the event offers participants ideas to accelerate and simplify processes, while decision-makers gain orientation, trend insights, and guidance for strategic advancement.

Eplan Next26 will also premiere the new Eplan Platform 2027, alongside two major innovations: Eplan Copilot, the AI advancing engineering processes, and Eplan Smart Sourcing, a solution for automated, data-driven component procurement. Sebastian Seitz, CEO of Eplan, highlighted the participation of leading speakers from Siemens, DMG Mori and Eaton China, offering exclusive insights into industrial developments.

Master Classes deliver practical knowledge in areas such as smart control cabinet design, efficient engineering automation, automated data processing, digital twin-based machine wiring, and product structuring for scalable templates. An accompanying trade show features over twenty Eplan partners, including ABB, Eaton, Lapp, Phoenix Contact, Rittal, Rockwell Automation, Siemens and Weidmüller, presenting solutions, interfaces, workflows, and engaging with attendees directly.

Fleming emphasised that “We’re not just going to be talking about the future in Munich – we’ll be experiencing it live and in person. A new chapter is beginning with the Eplan Platform 2027, AI support and smart data and processes. Showcasing these innovations live for the first time will make Eplan Next26 a true milestone.”
