Vipul Organics Limited a leading specialty chemicals company in the pigments and dyes segment, today announced a strategic and exclusive distribution partnership with the Swiss-based, multi-billion-dollar, privately held Omya Group, a global leader in industrial minerals production and specialty chemicals distribution.
Under the exclusive distribution agreement, Omya will act as the sole distributor for Vipul Organics’ SunTone and SunCoat range of high-performance pigment dispersions and pigment powders across the European market. The distribution rights cover the United Kingdom, Norway, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania and Moldova, excluding Switzerland and Poland.
The SunTone range is used across applications in the paint, ink, plastic, textile and rubber industries, as well as automotive coatings and industrial paints. The SunCoat range is used in paints and coatings, with applications in interior, exterior and decorative coatings, paper coatings, seed coatings, detergents for the coloration of liquid and solid soaps, shoe polish, and artistic and educational colours.
The collaboration brings together the strengths of both organisations. As a fully integrated manufacturer, Vipul Organics offers an extensive pigment portfolio recognised for superior dispersibility, weather fastness and technical performance. Omya brings strong distribution capabilities, with a presence across more than 50 countries, over 170 locations, and a network of regional warehouses and laboratories across Europe, providing market access and technical support for integrating Vipul Organics’ products into the European supply chain.
