Schaeffler India Limited, a leading motion technology company, has announced that its manufacturing plants in Maneja and Savli have received BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) licences, marking a significant first for Cylindrical Roller Bearings (CRB) for the company and the bearings industry in India.
The Maneja and Savli plants have been awarded the BIS licence for Cylindrical Roller Bearings (CRB), making Schaeffler India the first company in the Indian bearing industry to receive this certification. Both locations have also received BIS licences for Deep Groove Ball Bearings (DGBB).
The certifications underscore Schaeffler India’s commitment to quality, manufacturing excellence, and adherence to the highest industry standards. They also reinforce the company’s efforts to support India’s evolving quality framework while strengthening customer confidence in locally manufactured bearing solutions.
