Tembo
Global Industries Limited (NSE: TEMBO), an industrial company with expertise in
engineering mechanics, design load calculations, drawings, specifications,
manufacturing, supply and project execution, has announced that JR UAV Limited
will commence production of specialised components for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
(UAV) systems at its Kashidkopar facility within 90 days.
JR UAV
Limited is a strategic joint venture between Tembo Global Industries Limited,
JR UAV Europe and JR PROPO Japan.
Tembo
Global operates across sectors including oil & gas, chemicals,
construction, power, shipbuilding, nuclear power, HVAC, anti-vibration systems,
defence, and various industrial, commercial, utility and OEM installations.
Production
at the Kashidkopar facility will be undertaken against orders received by JR
UAV Italy for specialised components forming part of UAV systems. The facility
is being established as a dedicated manufacturing base for precision components
catering to unmanned aerial platforms, marking a significant step in the Group's
expansion into the high-technology defence and aerospace manufacturing value
chain.
The
commencement of production is expected to strengthen the Group's presence in
the global UAV supply chain, deepen its international footprint and support its
stated objective of building indigenous manufacturing capability for advanced
defence and aerospace systems in line with the Government of India's ‘Make in
India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives.
