Waaree Transpower Private Limited, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Ltd, has secured an order valued at approximately Rs 1.6 billion from one of the world’s leading energy storage technology and solutions providers.

The order covers the supply of 8.3 MVA Medium Voltage (MV) Skids for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) applications and marks a significant milestone for Waaree Transpower’s growing global business and export operations. It also strengthens the company’s position as a supplier of critical electrical infrastructure for the rapidly expanding energy storage market.

The 8.3 MVA MV Skid is an IEC-standard compliant, plug-and-play, containerised solution developed by Waaree Transpower specifically for BESS applications. The complete solution is integrated within a 20-foot container, enabling efficient transportation, installation and deployment across different project locations and international markets.

Its shippable and stackable configuration also provides greater flexibility for large-scale BESS deployments.

Shipments under the order commenced in July 2026.

The order comes as Battery Energy Storage Systems become increasingly important for supporting renewable energy integration into power grids, improving grid flexibility and enabling reliable round-the-clock power.

Viren Doshi, Director, Waaree Energies Ltd, said, “Securing this order is an important milestone for Waaree Transpower as we expand our presence in the global BESS ecosystem. Our containerised MV Skid solutions combine engineering capability, standardisation and deployment flexibility, enabling us to address the requirements of large-scale energy storage projects across markets. This order reinforces our confidence in building Waaree Transpower as a globally competitive electrical infrastructure partner for the energy transition.”

With this order, Waaree Transpower is strengthening its capabilities across the renewable energy value chain and expanding its role in the electrical infrastructure required for the global transition towards cleaner and more flexible energy systems.
