Andreas Maier Workholding Technology – India, the
subsidiary of ANDREAS MAIER GmbH, has opened its new office at Industry House
on Race Course Road, in the heart of Bengaluru’s commercial district.
The office was inaugurated on 4 August 2026 by Dr
Christoph Dorschfeldt, Consul General-designate of Germany; Johannes Maier,
Group MD of AMF; and Rajesh Nath, MD of VDMA (Confederation of European
Industry), through the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including
Madhusoothanan, Regional Director of the Indo-German Chamber; Kanchi Arora,
Economic Advisor to the Consul General; Chakravarti Mohan, Chairman of the
Institute of Directors; Alokha Mendens, IOD Southern Head; representatives from
Nextdigm Consultants and DBS Bank; and media personnel. AMF-India’s regional
heads and teams were also present.
Johannes Maier delivered the keynote address, tracing
AMF’s beginnings and growth in India. Dr Dorschfeldt highlighted the close
cooperation between German and Indian companies. Simon Schmidt, International
Sales Director of AMF, and TV Mohan, Country Head of AMF-India, welcomed and
thanked the guests and invitees attending the function. The VIPs were also
hosted by Vishwanath Ammanagi and Vivek Haridas, Directors (S & M) of
AMF-India.
